Employment Medicals
The pre-employment medical assessment attempts to establish if a candidate is medically fit to perform their job without undue risk to themselves or others. It also helps identify if workplace modifications or adjustments are required due to a disability.
What You May Expect During Your Consultation:
- General health questions, such as pre-existing health conditions
- Measurement of your height, weight, blood pressure, and temperature
- Physical examination
- Hearing and vision tests
- Recreational drug and alcohol screening
Please note, pre-employment medicals are only requested after you have been offered an employment contract.
On completion of your medical assessment, a brief medical report will be sent by the examining doctor to your potential employer.
