Employment Medicals

The pre-employment medical assessment attempts to establish if a candidate is medically fit to perform their job without undue risk to themselves or others.  It also helps identify if workplace modifications or adjustments are required due to a disability.

What You May Expect During Your Consultation:

  • General health questions, such as pre-existing health conditions
  • Measurement of your height, weight, blood pressure, and temperature
  • Physical examination
  • Hearing and vision tests
  • Recreational drug and alcohol screening

Please note, pre-employment medicals are only requested after you have been offered an employment contract.

On completion of your medical assessment, a brief medical report will be sent by the examining doctor to your potential employer.
